Room In Roof Insulation
If you're a Lancashire resident, we'll be able to help you. Complete the application form and our team will be in touch to confirm your eligibility and options.
High Heat Retention Storage Heaters can be funded through the Government's Warm Homes: Local Grant. For eligible residents, the grant could cover the cost of installation.
After applying, we'll review what measures your home needs. Under the Warm Homes: Local Grant, this could include insulation, air source heat pumps and solar panels. High Heat Retention Storage heaters will be installed if they are suitable for your home.
We'll contact you within 5 working days to confirm eligibility. If eligible, a retrofit survey will be organised. This is to review the property and decide what measures are suitable.
A contractor will then contact you to arrange a Technical Survey. This is an in-depth survey of the property to take the required measurements for installation.
The contractor will then submit quotes to the Government for approval. Once approved, you will be contacted to arrange the installation date.
Warmer House
With 25% of heat loss through the roof, insulating your room in the roof will result in less heat loss and so a warmer and cosier house. And a warmer room in the roof.
Energy Saving
With less heat loss, you will need less energy to heat your home and so become more energy efficient. This will result in significant savings on your energy bills.
Sustainability
As you use less energy, you are using fewer natural resources, which means you are being a more sustainable family and are playing a role in helping the planet.
Noise Reduction
Insulation will also make it harder for sound to pass through the walls and into your home. This will mean a quieter house, eliminating noise pollution.
