High Heat Retention Storage Heaters
If you're a Lancashire resident, we'll be able to help you. Complete the application form and our team will be in touch to confirm your eligibility and options.
High Heat Retention Storage Heaters can be funded through the Government's Warm Homes: Local Grant. For eligible residents, the grant could cover the cost of installation.
After applying, we'll review what measures your home needs. Under the Warm Homes: Local Grant, this could include insulation, air source heat pumps and solar panels. High Heat Retention Storage heaters will be installed if they are suitable for your home.
We'll contact you within 5 working days to confirm eligibility. If eligible, a retrofit survey will be organised. This is to review the property and decide what measures are suitable.
A contractor will then contact you to arrange a Technical Survey. This is an in-depth survey of the property to take the required measurements for installation.
The contractor will then submit quotes to the Government for approval. Once approved, you will be contacted to arrange the installation date.
A high heat retention storage heater is a type of electric heater that is designed to store heat during off-peak electricity hours and then release that heat slowly over time. This allows the heater to use electricity at a lower cost, as off-peak rates are lower than peak rates.
If your property already has storage heaters, the easiest solution to make your home warmer and more energy efficient is to replace your old storage heaters with new, modern high heat retention storage heaters.
