Help for Private Tenants
As a private tenant, you may be eligible for grants to keep your home warm and improve energy efficiency.
These include:
As a private tenant, you can apply if you're on a low income or in receipt of means tested benefits - we would need evidence of this. You will also need your Landlord's permission for any work to be carried out, and your landlord may need to make a financial contribution.
Each grant has its own eligibility criteria that may include EPC rating, postcode, household income and receipt of means tested benefits. Complete the application form, and a member of our team will be in touch to confirm your eligibility and what options are available for you.
Please note that the guidelines for the funding are set by the Government. All funding is subject to a survey, and only measures that are suitable for your property and work within the funding rules will be offered.

Cosy Homes in Lancashire was launched in 2014 by 15 local authorities in Lancashire following an energy efficiency study commissioned by Blackpool Public Health.
We're a not-for-profit scheme, managed by Rhea Projects, helping residents, landlords and park homeowners with free energy saving services and grants for heating, insulation, and low-carbon renewable technologies.
We work with charities, organisations and product manufacturers across Lancashire to make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Find out all about Cosy Homes here.
