What is Cosy Homes in Lancashire?

Cosy Homes in Lancashire was launched in 2014 by 15 local authorities in Lancashire following an energy efficiency study commissioned by Blackpool Public Health.

We're a not-for-profit scheme, managed by Rhea Projects, helping residents, landlords and park homeowners with free energy saving services and grants for heating, insulation, and low-carbon renewable technologies.

We work with charities, organisations and product manufacturers across Lancashire to make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Find out all about Cosy Homes here.

Reviews

I have had a very pleasant experience with Bambers, I can describe them as:
Polite and courteous
Respectful of her home
Clean and tidy while working
Reliable and punctual
Quick to respond when issues arose
Professional in both workmanship and customer care.
If there were a next time, I would have them back in a heartbeat.

Angela praised the support from the Cosy Homes team, describing staff as “absolutely brilliant” and saying they always go the extra mile to help.
Nigel - Borough of Pendle - May 2026
We have been visited by Darren this morning from Cosy homes to identify potential savings that can be made in our property such as insulation, energy savings, etc. Would like to thank Chris for the referral, Darren was customer focused, helpful, knowledgeable and professional above all credit to your business.
Brian - Chorley - May 2026
A big thank you to all of the team at Rhea for all the help provided so far.
Christopher - Borough of Wyre - May 2026
I would like to express my thanks for obtaining the funding which has helped me in so many ways. We are elderly and the energy costs increase was becoming unmanageable for us. The work has also helped as we both suffer from several health conditions.
