Apple Day - Leighton Hall
Support
19th October 2025
10:00 - 15:00
This year’s Apple Day takes place from 10am – 3pm on Sunday 19th October, and promises visitors tastings, demonstrations, talks, orchard tours, family friendly activities, hands-on rural crafts and nature trails, all set within Leighton‘s glorious gardens and woodland.
We will be there to share our latest offers, including home energy grants, our Little Van of Warm, and practical tips to help you save energy at home.
The event is run as part of Share the Harvest, a festival coordinated by Closing Loops and FoodFutures and embraces the local tradition of celebrating the Apple Harvest and the impact that has on the lives of those in our community.
Cosy Homes in Lancashire was launched in 2014 by 15 local authorities in Lancashire following an energy efficiency study commissioned by Blackpool Public Health.
We're a not-for-profit scheme, managed by Rhea Projects, helping residents, landlords and park homeowners with free energy saving services and grants for heating, insulation, and low-carbon renewable technologies.
We work with charities, organisations and product manufacturers across Lancashire to make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Find out all about Cosy Homes here.
