Ingredients

2 tbsp cooking oil (18p)
1 large brown onion (diced) (12p)
1 tsp fresh or dried chilli (to taste) (3p)
2 garlic cloves (crushed) or 1 ½ tsp garlic granules (16p)
1/2 tsp ginger powder (3p)
1 tbsp garam masala (34p)
1 tbsp tomato purée (9p)
400g tin chickpeas (drained) (50p)
1 medium sweet potato (chopped) (49p)
400g tin chopped tomatoes (50p)
Handful of chopped coriander (5p)
100g spinach (£1.00)

Instructions

Heat oil in large pan over medium heat.
Add onions to pan and cook until starting to soften.
Add chilli, garlic, ginger, garam masala, tomato puree, sweet potato and chickpeas.
Stir in tomatoes and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes (until sweet potatoes have softened).
Stir through spinach and coriander and cook until spinach has wilted.
Serve hot with naan bread or rice.

He fitted foil behind my radiators, put energy saving bulbs in my lights, plus he put plugs in that turn standby off on the TV and side lamps when not in use. he was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
