Ingredients

2 tbsp cooking oil (18p)
8 sausages of choice (£2.30)
1 medium red onion (diced) (32p)
1 large carrot (12p)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (6p)
1 tsp mixed herbs (16p)
400g can butter beans (drained) (50p)
400g tin chopped tomatoes (50p)
1 stock cube of choice (12p)
100ml warm water

Instructions

Preheat oven at 200C/180C fan/Gas mark 6.
Heat oil in ovenproof casserole dish over a medium heat and add stock cube to jug of warm water.
Add sausages to dish and cook until brown on all sides. Remove from dish and place to one side.
Add onions and carrots to dish and cook until starting to soften.
Stir in paprika, herbs, beans, tomatoes and stock.
Re-add sausages to dish, ensuring they are mostly submerged in sauce.
Bake in oven for 25 minutes
