Ingredients

2 tbsp cooking oil (18p)
1 large brown onion (diced) (12p)
2 garlic cloves (crushed) or 1 ½ tsp garlic granules (16p)
1 tsp Italian herbs (15p)
2 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes (£1.00)
300g pasta of choice (50p)

Instructions

Heat oil in large pan over medium heat.
Add onions to pan and cook until starting to soften.
Add garlic, herbs and tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes until sauce thickens.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta as per pack instructions.
Drain the pasta and mix it into the tomato sauce before serving.
Serve hot with some crusty bread if desired.

He fitted foil behind my radiators, put energy saving bulbs in my lights, plus he put plugs in that turn standby off on the TV and side lamps when not in use. he was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
