Community Health and Wellbeing event

Join us at the Winter Gardens and find out what's available in your community.

We'll be there to let you know about the government funded Home Upgrade Grant (HUG). HUG is available for Lancashire residents to install energy saving measures at home, worth up to £38,000, for free

If your home has no gas central heating with an EPC of D, E, F or G and;

  • your household income is less than £36,000 or,
  • someone in your household is in receipt of a means tested benefit or,
  • your property is in an eligible postcode area (see Eligible Postcodes),

then you could qualify for measures such as air source heat pump central heating, solar PV panels, all types of insulation, single glazed window upgrades and more.

Chat to our friendly team over a brew and find out how you can get a HUG from Blackpool Council. We can help you complete an application form or give you a pack to take away.

Pick up some energy saving tips, advice booklet and find out how we can help you stay warm and well.
