If you, or someone in your household, is in receipt of a means tested benefit then you should qualify for ECO funding towards the cost of energy saving measures. The amount of funding will be subject to survey and will depend on the type of property that you live in.
Following the survey of your property the CHiL Hub will contact you if there is a shortfall in funding and advise if a contribution is required. The CHiL Team will always endeavour to find additional funding to pay your contribution if you are not able to pay yourself.
ECO funding is available to owner-occupiers and private tenants. However, if you do rent from a private landlord you must ask your landlord for permission for any work to go ahead and if a contribution is required your landlord will be required to pay it.
If you receive a state pension, are on a low income, or have a long term health condition or a disability you may still be able to apply to have your home insulated or new heating measures installed through our ECO Flex funding. The CHiL Hub will be able to advise you of your eligibility.
CHiL has something for everyone so even if you don't qualify for funding we have negotiated some great prices for boiler replacements, central heating, boiler cover and gas appliance servicing. Check out the relevant pages on the website for further information.
