Get a HUG from Burnley Council

Join us at Briercliffe Community Centre. We’ll be there to talk about the current Home Upgrade Grant (HUG). HUG is available for Lancashire residents to install energy efficiency measures at home, worth up to £38,000, for free. 

If your home has no gas central heating with an EPC of D, E, F or G and;

• your household income is less than £31,000 or,
• someone in your household is in receipt of a means tested benefit
• or, your property is in an eligible postcode area (see Eligible Post Codes)

then you could qualify for measures such as air source heat pump central heating, solar PV panels, all types of insulation, single glazed window upgrades and more.
