Cosy Homes in Lancashire is able to offer a boiler or a gas fire service for £50 plus VAT.

If you have two gas appliances requiring a service you will receive a discount so the total cost will be £90 plus VAT. We have our own in-house team of Gas Safe heating engineers.

For your own safety it is important that gas appliances are serviced every year to ensure there is no carbon dioxide leaks for example.

This offer is available for domestic boilers only. Owners and landlords across Lancashire can apply for this great deal.

FAQs

Who will do the service?

We have our own in-house team of Gas Safe heating engineers. After your initial call to the CHiL Hub you will be contacted by a member of our Operations Team to arrange the visit.

Do I need to do anything before the engineer calls?

If the engineer is coming to check a gas fire then you must ensure that the fire is cold so do not use for a few hours prior to the visit.

What if the engineer finds a problem?

Sometimes the gas appliance is found to be dangerous so the engineer must, by law, condemn it and disconnect the appliance.

I am a Private Tenant.

If you rent your property then it is the legal responsibility of your landlord to service the gas appliances in your property every year.

What is a boiler warranty?

Every new boiler will come with at least a two year warranty. All boilers fitted on the CHiL scheme will get at least a 5 year warranty. To maintain the warranty you must have the boiler serviced every year by a qualified Gas Safe engineer

If your home has no mains gas central heating you could be eligible for a Home Upgrade Grant (HUG). You can qualify automatically for a HUG if you live in an eligible Post Code area and your house has an EPC of D, E, F or G.
