Oil heating and LPG systems are often outdated, so not only are they inefficient for heating your home - and likely costing you a small fortune - but they’re not environmentally friendly.
CHiL is an award-winning scheme for Lancashire residents which aims to improve energy efficiency and abolish fuel poverty and hefty energy bills for local residents.
Under the current ECO2t funding , more money is now available for replacing Oil and LPG fuelled boilers for people in the Affordable Warmth Group (see Replacing Your Boiler page).
These boilers usually cost more than a traditional gas boiler to replace so this has been recognised and additional funding is available.
If you live in a Park Home all year round, you will also qualify for funding , whereas on previous schemes these were excluded.
We’ve already helped thousands of residents to obtain a warmer home and reduce their energy bills with free and subsidised installations of energy measures throughout homes in the county.
Residents across Lancashire with an old, inefficient oil central heating system may be eligible for a replacement at a subsidised cost or entirely free of charge. Funding is of high demand and runs out very quickly. Our team are currently assessing applications, so don’t waste anymore time – register your details here today.
